Earn DeFi
Stablecoin yield research where every number shows its evidence
Earn DeFi runs three stablecoin strategies in simulation and publishes what they actually earned — with the date, the source and the risks. No money is accepted: this is the paper stage.
Conservative — so far the only strategy with enough days for a published result
realized · paper
4.9% annualised drawdown −0.04%
Measured 2026-10-13 · 113 evidenced days · paper, not live money · not a guarantee
research target up to 6% — a goal, not a result or a forecast.
Three strategies
The same questions for each
Conservative
risk: lower Mature · 113 days
- For
- People who want stablecoins to earn something while capital stays the priority.
- Result (paper)
- 4.9% annualised · drawdown −0.04% · measured 2026-10-13
Research target up to 6% — not a result
- Status
- Paper only — live capital is not open
Balanced
risk: medium Accumulating · 13/30 days research only
- For
- Research — testing whether a locked fixed rate is worth a fixed term and some extra protocol risk.
- Result (paper)
- Accumulating: 13 of 30 days — no rate yet
- Status
- research paper portfolio outside the path to live capital — refused for live capital
Aggressive
risk: higher Accumulating · 13/30 days research only
- For
- Research only — studying what leverage adds and what it costs. Not offered for real capital.
- Result (paper)
- Accumulating: 13 of 30 days — no rate yet
- Status
- simulated leverage, research paper portfolio — refused for live capital
Paper stage. Live capital is not open; opening it requires a decision by the project owner and a legal review — not just a day count.
How we measure
Four kinds of number — never mixed
realized · paper What the simulated portfolio actually earned over its evidenced days. An annual rate is published only after 30 days of history.
research target The goal the research is testing. Not a result and not a promise.
backtest Rules replayed on past data. Shows a possible risk tail; it is not a real result.
observed A short measurement (for example one day). Only in dashboard detail — never an annual result.
Published 2026-10-14, next update 2026-10-21. Figures update weekly.
Risk
What can go wrong — the main points
01
A lending protocol fails or is hacked
Money sits in smart contracts run by other teams. A bug or exploit there can lose part of it — no insurer stands behind it.
ConservativeBalancedAggressive
More detail
Only protocols above a minimum market size are used, and no single protocol may hold more than a set share of the portfolio. That limits the damage of one failure; it does not remove it.
02
A stablecoin loses its dollar peg
A "stable" coin can trade below $1 for days or for good. Yield does not help if the coin itself loses value.
ConservativeBalancedAggressive
More detail
The portfolios hold USD stablecoins only. A depeg has not occurred during this track, so the measured drawdown does not show this risk.
03
Leverage and liquidation
Borrowing to buy more multiplies both gains and losses. If collateral falls far enough, the position is liquidated.
Aggressive
More detail
Only Aggressive uses leverage, and only as a simulated loop. Conservative and Balanced use none. Aggressive is refused for real capital.
04
You cannot exit when you want
A lending market can be fully borrowed, a fixed-rate position may need to be sold below its value, a loop may be slow to unwind.
ConservativeBalancedAggressive
More detail
Conservative stays in daily-liquid lending markets; Balanced holds a fixed-rate leg to maturity; Aggressive depends on market depth.
Trust
Don't take our word — check
Not an offer or investment advice. Returns are variable and not guaranteed; loss of funds is possible. Paper results are not real client results.
